Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle - a photo on Flickriver

            The Hawaiian green sea turtle is one of the world’s largest, with adults weighing upwards of 350 pounds and growing up to four feet in length.

They can live 80-plus years — a happy consolation given that life for hatchlings can be quite the obstacle course.
