Anthophora plumipes - Female - a photo on Flickriver

            Several male and female Hairy-footed Flower Bees (Anthophora plumipes) in our Staffordshire garden today. This is a female; almost black except for the orange-collared pollen-collecting hairs on the hind legs. The males look very different.
