A geranium surprise .... - a photo on Flickriver

For the Saturday challenge: "red on white background"

I decided it was a good opportunity to shoot my latest geraniums - as I have added red to the white and pink plants I have been growing for many years. Imagine my surprise when I looked through the macro lens, and discovered there are beautiful dabs of orange on the inside of the petals! Nature always has ways to surprise us - this time with additional beauty. I do hope they still fit the rules for this topic! 😊
