Winter Stroll (20100130-140840-PJG)

Earlier this past week, we had some very warm weather, and some rain. The end result was that a great deal of our snow was gone. Well, yesterday, we received over a foot (30 cm) of snow, in one storm, when the weather only called for a tenth of that.

Today, I went out with a shooting buddy to brave the -25C / -13F windchill, for a walk in Mapleton Park, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada to try to get some winter scenery shots. The main trail going through the park is plowed, but most of the park is left natural.

The camera held up well, but it took over 5 hours to bring it back to room temperature. :)
