Sago Palm Frond - a photo on Flickriver

Sago Palm Frond

            So, I'm making my coffee this morning and I begin to be transfixed by these shoots from my sago palm. These were once long skinny strands lined with curly green edges. They have spread their wings and are beautiful as they reach high up over the rest of the plant. 

Putting my camera on the tripod, I set it on my counter near the plant and shoot up along one of the fronds that is illuminated by one of my kitchen spots.
