The Wende Museum of the Cold War was founded in 2002 by Justinian Jampol to preserve the material culture of the Soviet Bloc. It’s collection includes over 100,000 objects including photographs, artwork, and consumer products.

Last year on November 19, 2017 it opened in it’s current location in the former National Guard Armory Building in Culver City. It has 13,000 square feet of exhibition and storage space and an outdoor sculpture garden.
