SD40s At Highfield

            CSXT SD40-2 #8367 leads the 8006 westbound on the Hanover Subdivision at Highfield crossing the state line at milepost 93 from Pennsylvania to Maryland, October 23, 2019. 8367 is a former C&O SD40 built in June 1970 as Chesapeake & Ohio 7508. It was rebuilt into an SD40-2 sometime in the late '80s-early '90s. 8006 was built in March 1979 for the Louisville & Nashville component of the Family Lines System as that roads 8006, a number it has retained to the present day on CSX.
