Hitting The Spot

            Oban is a good place to see this less frequent gull. In among the usual black headed and herring gulls there are often one or two lesser black backed gulls.

Gulls are renowned for their cheeky and often aggressive behaviour in search of food. As a result they are often given bad press but I kind of like them.

My only gripe with gulls is their similarity to one another. I often wonder how many other species I have seen without knowing it.
