Relaxing on The Sofa - Re-processed and Re-posted

            This is a twee photograph of my dog that I took when I first purchased my PENTAX K-1. I was messing around in the house, getting acquainted with my new camera and wanted to see how well it would perform at higher ISO. I thought I had set the ISO to 1600, but I had accidentally set it to 16,000. Although the camera claims to have very good high ISO performance, I normally try to avoid pushing things too far. However, this shot shows that higher settings are not entirely without their merit. 

In addition to the high ISO setting, it is worth noting that this is a hand-held shot at 70mm focal length. The in-body image stabilisation certainly seems to have worked well here.

I have re-posted this because DxO Optics Pro did not support the PENTAX K-1 when I originally processed it. I came across the RAW files again recently and wondered how it would re-process now that DxO supports the K-1. In my opinion, it is hands down better at its job than Adobe Camera Raw, especially the awesome (but CPU crippling!) PRIME noise reduction.
