Rare Xmas Day Full Moon_0547 - a photo on Flickriver

            The first such full moon since 1977, and there won't be another until 2034. It's called the Full Cold Moon because it occurs at the start of winter. I supported the camera against the trunk of a maple tree on my street to get a sharp image at 1/4th of a second with zoom at the max. The sky was hazy (the moon is not just out-of-focus).
I've uploaded this also to the Weather Network - first upload there in nearly two years.
