Tonight was an amazing night at La Jolla! I took a friend of mine from work, she has this nice camera and just has not taken it out yet. She has seen my extended exposure work and wanted to give it a try, to to La Jolla we went! She had a wonderful time, said I was a good teacher. :)

Now about this picture. Very long exposure, which I am working on the balance between AV and TV. I think this one worked out pretty well! I did have to post process a little, I was sill a little under exposed, but thats all part of the learning process. It was very much dark out side, so getting anything was my goal! I love this rock, its the same rock I shot for my Sunday sunrise, but it was half covered with water the last time I was there! I love this beach, high tide, low tide, any tide, its down right a perfect beach!

My husband is not a fan of the plane light trail, but that was my entire focus of the shot!
