CSXT 381 • Hamlet NC • 10/16/08 - a photo on Flickriver

            A CSX eastbound freight arrives in Hamlet, North Carolina, and turns north to get to the yard on October 16, 2008.  A pair of AC4400CWs, CSTX 381 and 530, are assigned to the train this day.  Hamlet has a great variety and quantity of CSX trains passing through each day, as it serves as the junction for several lines heading north, south, east and west.  (And, curiously, there are no intermodel trains passing through!)  This train has come off the Florence Division's Monroe Subdivision and is now on the Hamlet Terminal Subdivision.
