GMTX 2106 - Anaheim CA - 03/27/07 - a photo on Flickriver

            This GP40 rolled out of EMD ion March 1969 as Baltimore & Ohio  3728.  It was later sold to GATX (retaining number 37028), and then was sold to Burlington Northern as BN 3083.  BN sold it to the Missouri & Northern Arkansas, then MNA 3083 was acquired by Texas Northeastern Railroad.  TNER 3083 eventually migrated to Central Oregon & Pacific before CORP 3083 was rebuilt into a GP38-2 and became part of the Union Pacific's roster, numbered UP 2387.  Renuimbered to UP 887, and eventually the engine was sold to GATX Rail Locomotive Group as GMTX 2106.  The UP markings were painted out, and the engine retained a general UP look - along with becoming a canvas for graffiti.  (Anaheim, California - March 27, 2007)
