Midtown Skyline - a photo on Flickriver

Midtown Skyline

            A bad scan, many generations and resizings old, I'm afraid.  Originally taken with an Olympus OM-1 from as high above the public walkway as I could climb on the Brooklyn Bridge before being ordered down by the police.

I think the lighting qualities and the fact that it had been a wet morning go a ways toward showing the city as even more of a patchwork than most conventional shots I've seen; with the brownstones and even each different shade of grey distinguishable one from the next.
