Touch of Spring Clock - a photo on Flickriver

            This clock has a wood base. It was designed with polymer clay and liquid clay.
The outline was done with hand made black clay cord over white polymer clay. I hand mixed the liquid clay colors and filled in the wells. This was done in several stages. The sandy colored background was done with clay and then hand textured. The back is painted a crystal green.
The flowers and leaves were triple glazed with a special poly-glaze. Then the whole design was double coated with varathan varnish. It sits on a black iron stand that is held in place with tiny screws. See CookiesCreations for more.
