A telescope in a storm - a photo on Flickriver

            The University of Manchester radio telescope at Defford in Worcestershire(!), surrounded by fields of oil seed rape, catching the evening sun under dark and stormy skies.

I suppose if they put this type of telescope anywhere near Manchester and then pointed it upwards like this the dish would soon fill up with rainwater!
