Kepta Duona: step 6 - a photo on Flickriver

Strips of coarse rye bread, pan-fried in oil with caraway seeds, then rubbed with garlic cloves. Known in Lithuania as "Kepta Duona," literally "cooked bread," [pronounced: KEPT uh doo AWN uh], which is served as “užkandžiai prie alaus” — “snacks to beer”.

Remove from pan. Pat with paper towel to remove excess oil. Vigorously rub a garlic clove into the fried strip.
