the easiest waterfall - a photo on Flickriver

            There are so many waterfalls in the Finger Lakes that it is hard to choose a favourite.  Hector Falls, just down the road from the house we had taken on the east shore of Lake Seneca, however, clearly wins the title of "easiest waterfall".  It pounds down right off the shoulder of the main drag, and all you have to do is pull over after the bridge to get a gander at this beauty. Some might swoon for slender arcs of water plummeting hundreds of feet, but the delicate sheets of a stairstep cascade like this are somehow rather more interesting.
