N60844 JBER Six Mile Lake Aurora 1 Dec 13

            The Aurora Borealis came out to play early this morning, but it was just a faint show on the northern horizon for those of us down in the Anchorage Bowl.  It was barely visible to the naked eye, but a longer exposure brought it out a bit.

This was a new experience for me as it was just a greenish arc across the sky.  And like last time, no dancing or shimmying or pulsing but just a constant presence.

The Cessna A185F was illuminated by a quick flash of my car's high beams.
