Jamestown Settlement in Jamestown, Va.

            Jamestown Settlement, seen on Oct. 26, 2015, is a living history museum that recreates the 1607 settlement, featuring full-sized replicas of the original three ships that brought the first permanent English settlers to the colony. The museum also features a recreated Powhatan Indian village and a replica of James Fort where interpreters fire period firearms and make iron implements.
