Meadow - a photo on Flickriver

Meadow

            Well, it's not really a meadow. This was taken in the wetlands of the Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge back about 3 years ago. On that trip, I believe, I was bitten on my foot by a spider, though I never saw it. Two punctures, and a bad reaction like I usually get. Fortunately, it wasn't a bite from anything more deadly! I came away with a lot of good shots, but this one was mediocre at best. Sometimes I just like to work on those to hone my skills some. It's easy to make the good ones look great, but if you can make the bad ones look good, then you're doing something!

Tomorrow is my birthday, so I probably won't be posting until the next day. My friends have a surprise planned for me, and a nice chunk of the day will have me out and about. I'll catch up soon!
