October feed fest

            I love chipmunks and saved a few while living in the country! One I named "Chip", could not be saved. I tried my best. He had a heat lamp near him and I had eye dropper for water but a wild cat had done too much damage. He did live for two days and I almost thought Chip would make it. He was buried in the animal grave site near one side of the woods and by the fields and bluebird houses.
It is always tricky to catch a clear photo of these active and hungry critters. I had a jar of peanuts and was sitting out and eating them while tossing some their way. It was Autumn and a time they really have to fill up on food for the long Minnesota winter.  Putting the jar of peanuts down quietly and taking up the camera and hoping for a clear photo !
