The Panasonic G9ii camera recreated in LEGO form. This 1:1 scale replica has a rotatable screen and a removable lens. The Leica 9mm F1.7 lens has a spinning focus ring and when detached allows you to see the Micro Four Thirds camera sensor. Additional accessories include a brick built battery, lens cap, and SD memory card.

I was inspired to build a camera by the LEGO Retro Camera set (31147,) but I wanted to do my camera. There were some challenging shapes and subtle angles in this, but my favorite bit has to be the shutter button. I used the army helmet in black (exclusive to the Ninjago set 2259.) This gave a rounded slightly curved, but mostly flat surface for the button. Slide a tire on top and you get a nice texture for the front finger dial.
