I've gotten used to being a loner when it comes to my photo adventures. There are certainly advantages to doing that; I can leave early or late, I can move at my own pace, I don't have to feel self-conscious about taking forever to frame a photo. But sharing a photo of a beautiful scene isn't quite the same as sharing the scene in real time.

This is a scene from last night in Harpers Ferry. More precisely, it's from Maryland Heights looking across into Harpers Ferry, WV. The leaves aren't quite there yet, but sharing a great sunset made the trip worthwhile.
