In the "add this photo to your map" window to the right, I wish there was an image of "the Earth in Space," or something like a cartoon head that said, "my imagination." A lot of our textured images originate in those places.

There is no snow here so far this year. Temps are winter mild; no vortex, no polar nothin' in sight. What a difference a year makes (8,765 little hours). Still people moan and groan as if Death had called on them early.

Caution: some tart-tonguery up next....

I tried to look for some cute winter quotes to say to them, but couldn't find any (What? Winter doesn't deserve cute quotes? I guess not); so I made up one:

"It's terribly cold, and it's snowing - yet again. Yes, it's called 'winter', my dear friends; so either pack your bags and git, or get the fuck over it and just shut the hell up." :-)

Longest night of the year: 14+ hours here in Chicago. I think I got an extra 40 - 50 minutes of sleep. Perhaps some extra strong, sleepy time tea in an I.V. would help.
