Merlin View Trail Winter Hike - A Canada Jay came to check us out

            The weather was going to be delightful, so Larry and I decided to stretch our legs on this hike near the town of Bragg Creek. The trail was good, a mix of packed snow, hard ice, with a few short stretches of dirt, even some mud. We walked 14.3 km's return distance, gaining 590 m's overall, and taking just over 4 hours to complete.
