Shot during a delightful walk we call 'the big round' (het grote rondje): from Tavira thru the fields to Santa Luzia, Pedras del Rei, (bridge), Barril, the beach of Ilha de Tavira, (ferry), Quatras Aguas, Tavira. It's some 18 km.

The Ilha de Tavira is one of the barrier islands of the Ria Formosa nature reserve - which forms the coast of the Sotavento - the eastern part of the Algarve.
