Mourn the Fallen Grave Side Service - a photo on Flickriver

             i looked through the slit in between to tombs and to my surprise i saw a group of men standing around an open grave.
They were morning the lose of one of there people, it looks like one of the infected got to him. I saw them dragging the
body into the tomb right in front of me. I wondered if i should try to join them, but my past experiences stopped me from shouting out.
I recalled when the clouds started to block out the sky, the land became steadily darker, our governments said nothing was wrong just sit 
it out and relax. They were wrong. After 2 weeks the snow piled high around everything, all color was gone no flowers around anywhere. Then 
the raiders came. They would break into houses and markets to steal food, carry off our wives and children to "protect them" that was the
last time i saw my wife, i promise i will find her though, but enough of my wanderings through my mind. I need to decide whether or not 
I could trust these men (for i saw no women, i haven't since the first year of the endless winter). And as my mind wondered about the first years i 
remembered my son, he was everything a man could want in a child but i lost him. We were travailing around hiding from the raiders and trying to 
stay alive when we found a group of men who had weapons but weren't raiders or infected. They told us to travel with them and they would protect us,
i was wrong, and it cost my boy his life. That night when we gathered around the fire that they made the attacked me and the boy trying to tie us up
to eat us, i grabbed my son and ran as fast as i could but there was the gunshot..... i shouldn't think about that. These men are different though, some are 
actually crying for there loss. I think i will take my chance.. i call out, they turn, and i show them i mean no harm. I think i found a home.
