Portraits of miniatures vs. miniatures of people

            Some digital cameras have a setting that applies extreme bokeh outside of a narrow plane of focus that the photographer selects. The result is to make the scene look like a diorama with everything miniaturized. But these baseball portraits do the reverse. They take a small plastic figurine and apply lighting and lens and background to make them look as if they were life-sized persons.
