            Abhaneri - Chand Baori
Chand Baori è un famoso pozzo a gradini situato nel villaggio di Abhaneri nello stato indiano del Rajasthan. Il pozzo è uno dei più vecchi profondi  dell'India. 
Fu costruito tra l' VIII e il IX secolo e serviva a risolvere il problema dell'approvvigionamento idrico nei periodi di siccità e fornire un mezzo abbastanza comodo per raggiungere l'acqua. Il pozzo ha 3500 stretti gradini che collegano 13  livelli fino a raggiungere l'acqua alla profondità di trenta metri.

Chand Baori is a stepwell situated in the village of Abhaneri in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
It s one of the oldest and most attractive landmarks in Rajasthan. It was built  between 800 CE and 900 CE  and consists of 3,500 narrow steps over 13 stories. It extends approximately 30 m  into the ground making it one of the deepest and largest stepwells in India.
