Stranger 344 - Hana - a photo on Flickriver

Hana works at festivals. She is builds teepees and takes them down once the festival is over. Hana is the only female, on the team, for this physically demanding job. She must enjoy it as she is in her third year. It is a seasonal job and some of her fellow workers live in India during the winter months. Hana is planning on doing this too, starting this winter.

In her spare time Hana enjoys making music with her partner. He plays guitar and double bass. Hana sings. When they go to India he would like to expand his musical talents and Hana would like to develop her skills in dance.

While I was photographing Hana, I asked if she had ever been asked before. She said that she had. A friend had used her as a model when doing some light painting. "So you were photographed in the dark?" I asked. "Yes", Hana replied.
