Children of bateyes - a photo on Flickriver

In the bateyes the kids live in the most poor conditions, and still, the only thing they know is love. And it's all they need.
When we arrived at their homes, with all the gifts we brought, some kids came towards us, happily playing, some others remained a bit more isolated. Those are the ones that interested me the most. I tried to find a smile under their almost grumpy expression, and I think that I sculpted a bit their soul, with just a conversation and some interest
