Day Three..
Before I get to 3, lets go back to 2, 'coz I have to tell you about Mathew :)
Mathew was my cabbie, who drove me to my hotel from the airport
Coming to Burlington, I did not know what to expect
My daughter did not help (but that's a whole other story :))
So am picked up by this very old cabbie, who could not lift my bag, and wanted to know what the heck was in there, that made it so heavy :D
I wanted to say, "shoes", but was not sure how he would take it ;)
I sat in the front of the cab (I like riding in the front with the driver) looking at the gloomy skies
I think sweet Mathew sensed my disappointment, because he started to chat with me
Asked me what I was doing there and told me not to worry about the dark skies
He said, "Your pretty smile is going to bring sunshine, believe me."
He also said he would drive around and kinda show me places of importance on the way :)))
So am looking at the trees and thinking, hmmmmm....where is all the color?!?
He then told me it was a warm summer, so its a little late to peak this year.
"Just my luck!", I said to him, with a smirk
Then he said the strangest thing...
He said, "Young lady, we have a saying in Vermont. Foliage and sex don't have to be spectacular, to be good!", and he turned and smiled at me
I nearly choked, and I had to ask him to repeat it so I knew I had it right
LOL...am not sure why he shared, but am glad he did, 'coz now I can share it :))))

Day three...
Got myself a cab for 3 hours and drove around in the outskirts
And it was more than good, it was great!
Oh...and Mathew was right, the sun did shine, every single day I was there :D
