Yashica FX-3 Super 2000 with ML 35mm F/2.8 Lens

            I recently got myself into the Yashica C/Y mount system when I bought this used FX-3 Super 2000. It arrived in cosmetically near mint condition, but I discovered it had an issue with the meter - not the electronics, but with the mechanical ring inside the mount that lets the camera know what lens aperture has been chosen on any given lens. That ring was bound up, so I chose to disable it entirely, making this an all mechanical, meterless camera body. This works okay for me as I have good hand held meters to use, or even sunny 16 rules for that matter.

Also, I picked up this slightly less common Yashica ML C/Y mount lens for use on my FX-3 Super 2000. There's film in the camera now, so I'll know soon how sharp this one is. But it arrived in mint condition inside and out.

I enjoy photographing my vintage gear using vintage digital cameras and lenses whenever possible, so am proud to say.... this photo was taken with a Pentax *ist DS and Vivitar 28mm F/2.8 lens.
