The poet Paul Valéry is quoted as saying a poem is never finished, only abandoned. That's how I feel about much of the art I create. Oftentimes, I truly don't "finish" .... I just stop.

So, I have started a project -- one that will likely take me a very long time to complete, if it is ever completed at all, truth be told. I'm calling it "Flickr Revisited". I going back through my photostream, deleting photographs or digital art pieces that no longer please me, as well as revisiting some images that need a little tweaking to my eye. I'm also inspired by older pieces I have done and have created new projects, based on older ones.

This piece is one of those. Inspired by my "quarter angel", I took a fresh look at an old project.

The angel was photographed in Buffalo, NY's Forest Lawn Cemetery.
