VALLEY MILLS, a Post settlement in Inverness County, Nova Scotia 5 miles from River Dennis, on the Truro & Sydney branch of the I.C.R. - located on south side of River Dennis Basin, 4 miles south of Orangedale.

The VALLEY MILLS Post Office was established - 1 June 1885 and closed - 30 September 1936 owing to the provision of rural mail delivery service via River Denys Station RR No. 2.
