Do not detach the butterfly while they are mating or they will die.
Lucky to get this one in perfect focus on her eyes. Shot with a flash bounce off a handheld white card. Straight off the cam with only slight brightening to the eyes and tilt for a better view.
I feel the full version tends to be a bit cluttered with too many elements in view. Just my personal preference. Again taken from the Phuket Butterfly Sanctuary.
