Did you know there is debate — should one eat the popular fish-shaped Taiyaki pastry (whether for breakfast, or street food snack) head-first or tail-first? Some say those who start with the head are cheerful, while those who begin with the tail are nervous. I think I’d start with the head so that it couldn’t stare at me while I ate it - does that make me cheerfully nervous?
