Rathaus von Wittstock an der Dosse (Brandenburg)

            1905 / 1906 - nach Umbau im neugotischen Stil; Gerichtslaube, Kellergewölbe und Nordgiebel bleiben aus früheren Zeiten erhalten, so daß Spuren bis zum 15. Jh. zurückreichen. Bei rätselhaftem Anschlag (20.03.1954) wurde das Gebäude im Innern zerstört. Nach Restaurierung 1992 - 1997 ist das Rathaus in alter Schönheit entstanden, auch das Gemälde im Plenarsaal wurde rekonstruiert (Marshall, Übergabe der Stadtrechte). Bemerkenswerte äußere Details: Terrakotten in der Gerichtslaube (wohl von 1530) und eine alte Sonnenuhr. (Quelle:Homepage der Stadt Wittstock)
