Griffon Vulture Gyps fulvus Arrival - a photo on Flickriver

            Farmers in Spain are now allowed to put carcasses out for vultures and this particular bird was arriving on the carcass of a cow amidst a group of 8 or more other Griffon Vultures, all scrapping and fighting amongst themselves. Griffon Vultures will feed on a carcass this size for several days until they are too full to fly and can only walk.
