Ausflug zum Nationalpark Krka 

Der Nationalpark Krka umfasst den größten Teil des Flußverlaufes und der Uferregion des gleichnamigen Flusses Krka 
Der typische Karstfluß Krka fließt hier kilometerlang durch eine Schlucht. Auf seinem Weg zum Meer bildet er beim Durchbruch durch das Gestein zahlreiche Seen, Wasserfälle und Wildbäche. 

Die Wasserfälle sind das Markenzeichen und die Hauptattraktion des Nationalparks Krka. Insgesamt reihen sich 17 Barrieren, dutzende kleinere und ein handvoll großer Wasserfälle aneinander, die zusammen auf der ganzen Länge des Parkareals 46 Höhenmeter überwinden. 

Hervorzuheben ist das Franziskanerkloster auf der Insel Visovac. Die ca. 1 ha große Insel wurde teilweise künstlich aufgeschüttet.
