Trbwneg013f 57355 Stranraer 150264 - a photo on Flickriver

            Stranraer shed, the date given was the 15th of February 1964, but i think it may be a few months earlier than that. I liked this photo for the disparity between the 2 locos in shot.
57355 was a Caledonian Railway Drummond 0-6-0 that was new as 707 in November 1894, it became 17355 under the LMS in 1924 and then 57355 under BR. Its final allocation was to Stranraer 67F and it was withdrawn on the 29th of November 1963 from what I can see giving it a life span of just under 70 years.
Behind it is Riddles Clan 4-6-2 72006 Clan Mackenzie which was a Kingmoor loco new in February 1952 and withdrawn in May 1966 after just over 14 years in service.
