SUMMER DAY OUTINGS... - a photo on Flickriver

            This all seems such a long time ago now. Before Covid was on the horizon by 5 years. Did the world breath a little easier then? My wife was recovering from breast cancer and all the usual anxieties of life still existed.

On the railway through Malvern there was still a rich variety of classes of unit and loco hauled test trains and of course HST's. 

Adelante Class180 180103 enters Malvern Link on the beautiful summer day of 31-7-15.

The working is the 09.54 1P40 Great Malvern to London Paddington First Great Western Railway service. First was not to officially end until September of 2015.
