PENN CENTRAL F-UNITS DEPART WHISKEY ISLAND WITH AN EASTBOUND TRANSFER OFF THE B&O - CLEVELAND, OHIO - JANUARY 10, 1976

            On a bitter cold and all around crummy day in January 1976, a quad set of PC F's is doing routine work picking up a transfer from the B&O interchange.  All kinds of freight was interchanged here, but the bulk of it in this era was coal destined to power plants in Cleveland, Willoughby, or Painesville.  The first two F's are in full PC dress, while the second pair are still NYC patch jobs, and in a few more months they will all be working for new owner Conrail.
