Pallid Cuckoo - a photo on Flickriver

Pallid Cuckoo

            A pretty unusual sighting for me this one. I spotted a pair of these birds out at the town dam late in the afternoon on the day. I didn't think that I was going to be able to get a decent photo with the lighting being poor but this one stayed still long enough for me to take a heap of photos, hoping to get something good, and I did! Well, good enough to be presentable ahaha :-)
