Southend Transport - 716 LPB218P - Leyland National 10351/1R

            New to London Country(SNB218), in 02/1976, this National then passed to London Country(South West) when the LCBS empire split on 07/09/1986. In the face of stiff competition, Southend Transport acquired a motley collection of secondhand buses during the late 1980's, early 1990's and this was one of several former London Country Nationals that were acquired. In this photo taken in late 05/1990 on Chichester Road when passing Southend-on-Sea Bus Station, it still carried it's former LC fleetnumber and depot code.

The camera was a Praktica MTL3.
