Oxford Jr. High in Cypress - Mrs. MacPherson

            June 1968. This is Mrs. MacPherson again. She was my math instructor in 7th Grade at Oxford. When my sister had her as a teacher the previous school year, her name was Miss Plattes (pronounced ‘plat-ess’).

This photo was taken using my sister's Kodak Instamatic camera that utilized 126 cartridge film. It was an early one that used AG-1 flashbulbs in a pop-up reflector. For some reason the flash failed on this shot, creating a vastly underexposed, washed-out image. Now with computer software, a useful image can be salvaged 50 years afterwards.
