RFO 1837 en 1828 bij Zenderen op 29-5-2023

            Op pinkstermaandag 29 mei 2023 werd met een drukke werkweek in het vooruitzicht het spoor opgezocht. Dagenlang werd er mooi weer beloofd, maar op zondagavond verscheen er sluierbewolking in de voorspellingen. Toch werd maandagvroeg toch maar het spoor opgezocht. In Loo trof ik direct een bekende treinenspotter en samen hebben we een aantal locaties bezocht. Gezien de gezelligheid en deze dag vooral de kwaliteit in plaats van de kwantiteit qua cargo kunnen we terugkijken op een prima dag in Twente. Er werden uiteraard ook weer een aantal 1700'en meegepakt nu het nog kan.

De dag werd begonnen in Loo waar naar verwachting de Laude-staaltrein door zou komen. De dag ervoor was de trein namelijk leeg Nederland binnengekomen. De trein kwam echter niet opdagen. Toen we op onze tweede spotplek stonden, kregen we de melding dat de trein om 12:09 uur was gespot in Amsterdam. In Zenderen zouden we de trein kunnen fotograferen exclusief lange stops en machinistenwissels. Twee later verscheen de trein al in Zenderen en stond de zon nog goed kwam hoek.

Hier zien we de fraaie combinatie van de (schone) RFO 1837 en 1828 met de beladen Laude-staaltrein bij Zenderen op 29-5-2023. Die dag liep het lekker qua RFO-treinen. Met deze vangst was ik heel tevreden.
