DBC Vectron 193 334 bij Dijkerhoek op 19-3-2022

            Aangezien er goed weer werd voorgespeld op zaterdag 19-3-2022 en de Betuweroute nog helemaal gestremd was, werd Twente bezocht in de hoop om wat omleiders te scoren.

De dag begon goed met de TCS 101002 met een afvaltrein bij Holten. Voor mij persoonlijk de eerste keer dat ik deze trein fotografeerde. Daarna werd naar Wierden gereden waar ik een andere spotter trof. Het was vooral gezellig, maar er werd daar maar één (wel fraaie) staaltrein en een losse TCS 101002/IRP2106 gespot. Daarna werd de stek bij Dijkerhoek bezocht.

Bij aankomst in Dijkerhoek stond het tegensein al op rood. Aangezien de intercity in aantocht was, werd niet een goederentrein verwacht. De verrassing was dan ook groot toen ik iets roods zag opdoemen. De goederentrein was ingelegd voor de intercity en reed daarmee zo'n tien minuten te vroeg. Hier zien we de DBC Vectron 193 334 met een fraaie gemengde UC 45740 Hagen Vorhalle-Kijfhoek bij Dijkerhoek op 19-3-2022.

Al met al ook wel een gelukje achteraf. Ik ben niets vermoedend, afgaande op de normale goederenpaden, in de auto gestapt in Wierden en met een rustig gangetje naar Dijkerhoek gereden. Ik had immers alle tijd (een kwartiertje speling). Achteraf bleek dit maar één minuut te zijn ;-).
