RFO 1830 bij Zenderen op 23-2-2022

            Op woensdag 23 februari 2022 kon er eindelijk weer eens een dagje vrij worden genomen in combinatie met goede weersomstandigheden na het sombere begin van 2022. Samen met een vriend werd Twente bezocht in de hoop om een aantal omgeleide goederentreinen te spotten aangezien de Betuweroute beperkt kan worden bereden.

De dag kwam wat rustig op gang bij Holten, maar op de volgende stek bij Notter werden drie goederentreinen gescoord. Na een melding van de omgeleide goederentrein Beverwijk-Flandersbach werd doorgereden naar Zenderen. Daar werd deze fraaie trein gefotografeerd. Een half uur later kwam RFO ook nog door.

Hier zien we de RFO 1830 bij Zenderen met een Millet-keteltrein. De fraaie locomotief is onlangs bewerkt door "kunstenaars". Deze "kunst" heb ik voor de foto weggepoetst. Hopelijk krijgt de locomotief binnenkort ook weer eens een wasbeurt. Al met al was het een zeer geslaagde dag met mooie vangsten. Het grootste deel van de tien cargo's die we hebben gespot mooi in het zonnetje betroffen omleiders.
